Job Description: SEO/SEM Expert
We are looking for someone who is passionate about SEO and has the skills to propel our affiliate programs to the top using only best practices (White Hat) methodologies. Our ideal candidate will have the ability to perform SEO as well as undertake and analyze SEM campaigns on behalf of our growing client base.
Skillsets:
- Analyze website architecture, content, and make optimization changes
- Submitting sites on various searchengines / directories
- Creating, maintaining and analyzing pay-per-click campaigns.
- Ability to identify the right keywords for the right internal pages.
- Creating robots.txt / sitemap.xml files
- Webmaster knowledge required. Google Webmaster Tools familiarity
- Google analytics & Social Media channels knowledge required
- Creating excel reports
- On-page & off-page optimization
- Experience with a robust Keyword Research tool and analytics
- Understand the difference between traffic keywords and converting keywords
- Good understanding of link building methods
- Highly Recommended: Google AdWords Certification
- Blog, forum, PR sites, social bookmarking sites & social networking sites submission process familiarity
- Extraction of analytical insight for presentation and planning purposes
- Establish budgets, forecasts and benchmarks for paid campaigns
- Bid management
Candidate Profile Essentials:
- Past experience in SEO & SEM techniques
- Has managed SEO & SEM campaigns in the past
- Ability to tangibly measure ROI on paid campaigns
- Good marketing acumen to understand positioning and targeting requirements for individual projects
- English language proficiency
- Keen to keep up to date with latest developments in SEO and SEM
- Analytical abilities
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 2 years hands-on SEO experience
- Working knowledge of HTML, XHTML, PHP, CSS, JAVASCRIPT
- Good communication skills: both written and verbal
