Quality Assurance Testing
Software testing is a critical element of software quality control and represents the ultimate validation of code against requirement specifications. Testing and Validation may be required at several levels, from the individual software module to the integrated system.
Policy
The designated Manager and Lead shall ensure that testing is performed as per the projects defined process and test plans by using identified methods and tools. The designated Leads shall ensure that problems detected during testing and test results are recorded and problems are tracked to closure.
The designated Leads shall ensure that traceability is maintained between requirements, design, code, test cases and test results to determine product quality and related issues.
The designated Leads shall ensure that changes are made to test plan, test procedure and test cases based on the changes made to requirements and design as per the change control process.
The designated Lead and QC shall ensure that testing types like regression testing, stress testing, testing on abnormal conditions, system testing are conducted at agreed each test level whenever software is tested or its environment changes.
