Implementation Deployment
Release and acceptance involves software building and release, deployment, acceptance testing and defect fixing, and obtaining customer’s acceptance and feedback.
Depending upon the nature and scope of the project, software delivery to the customer could be done either by software release (software is sent to the customer) or software deployment (software is setup in the environment provided by the customer)
Policy
The designated Lead shall organize to release software and documentation as per the software release plan. The Release Engineer shall develop a software build and arrange to release the software product and documentation
The designated Manager and Lead shall coordinate with customer to organize for acceptance testing as per the acceptance plan. The designated Lead shall ensure that defects and problems reported by customer during acceptance testing are recorded and tracked to closure.
